Overtone Analyzer

Overtone Analyzer is a software application for anyone interested in sound or music. It can be used as a spectrum analyzer and a visual feedback tool as well as an interactive visualization of music theory. Originally written by and for overtone singers, it uniquely relates the physics of sound to the perception of music. In particular, it highlights the role of natural overtones or harmonics as a fundamental aspect of the structure of sound. Using Overtone Analyzer will deepen your understanding of sound and music and sharpen your perceptual skills.

    Overtone Analyzer 1.0 is out!

After several years of hard work, we are finally satisfied to call this version 1.0 and release it to the world.

There are no significant changes from the last release candidate. The only minor new feature is the option to specify if the help window should stay in front of the application window.

The online ordering system is already fully functional. However, we are still going to review the website, the trial versions, and the order process over the next few days to make sure everything is working perfectly. Once that is assured, the official release announcement will be made.
